Volunteers are the backbone of the Special Olympics movement. They are coaches, trainers, officials, event organizers, fundraisers, and event volunteers. They can also be unified partners playing alongside athletes with intellectual disabilities or fans cheering in the stands.

Children as young as seven can become volunteers with the Special Olympics Arizona, but if you have children younger than seven, they don’t have to be left out! Younger children can still accompany their sibling volunteers or parents, providing their energy and cheering on our athletes alongside their families. - 14 and older register as individual or group
- 13 and younger, accompanied by adult 21 or older
- 4 child volunteers : 1 adult
- 7 & younger—no volunteer assignments but can join the fun!

What to Wear
- SOAZ will provide volunteer t-shirts for the event
- Remember to write your name on the shirt
