Special Olympics Arizona supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, giving them opportunities to compete in Olympic-type sports competitions and year-round training. Through our Unified programming, we are working to educate, motivate, and activate all members of the community to seek social change by organizing events that promote the respect, acceptance, and inclusion of all people, regardless of ability.
On July 11, 2026, Special Olympics Arizona’s Mountain Area will be hosting the annual Bare Aspen Wine and Beer Tasting, presented by Elks Lodge #499, to support Special Olympics Arizona Mountain Area delegations. This amazing event brings the community together for a fun afternoon with great beer, wine, food, music, and a silent and live auction. As we celebrate our local community partners, all proceeds will go directly to supporting Special Olympics Arizona athletes and their delegations within the Mountain Area community. These funds are instrumental to Special Olympics Arizona’s programming which makes a tremendous impact providing things such as:
