GMA gifts Milwaukee Special Olympics coach tickets to NBA Finals

Quentin Redd, Special Olympics coach in Milwaukee, recognized for his work within his community

The Phoenix Suns have rallied the Valley en route to a thrilling run to the NBA Finals this summer.

And though we anxiously wait to see if the Suns can win their first championship in franchise history, we can’t help but smile at one Milwaukee Bucks fan and the impact he’s had on his community.

Quentin Redd, the coach of Special Olympics Team Milwaukee, was gifted tickets to Game 4 of the NBA Finals by Good Morning America, who recognized him for his involvement in the program since the early 2000s.

Redd coaches his brother Terrence’s basketball team, and he even guided them to compete for the top prize at the Special Olympics Wisconsin state event.

But far greater than what could occur on the hardwood is what Redd strives to instill in his athletes. He aims to provide them with the love, support and guidance through his passion of coaching basketball.
