Sanderson Ford, U-HAUL and Special Olympics Arizona Team Up for the 4th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Guardian Games
Special Olympics Arizona Athletes, Local Law Enforcement Officers and Sponsor Participants Go Head-to-Head in Friendly Competition

Who: Sanderson Ford, Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) and Special Olympics Arizona
What: After a 2 year year delay, Sanderson Ford is back with the 4th annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Guardian Games on Friday, April 1st (no fooling). 64 unified teams of four will compete in eight events within the Westgate Entertainment District. Each team will consist of one Special Olympics Athlete, two sponsor participants, and one Law Enforcement Officer.
Each team will compete in 8 different events including Arizona Diamondbacks Home Run Derby, iHeart Shazam music game, Law Enforcement Experience, Family Feud, PXG Golf Experience, Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Toss, Phoenix Suns Skill Challenge and Arizona Coyotes Street Hockey.
The day’s events are open to the public, where supporters of Special Olympics Arizona can cheer on the athletes and teams.
Al McCoy will MC the Opening Ceremonies in the Fountain Plaza at 9 am that will include remarks from Luis Gonzalez with the Arizona Diamondbacks followed by Presentation of Colors, the National Anthem, Torch Lightning and Special Olympics Athletes parade.

Why: The Law Enforcement Torch Run Guardian Games is a community event organized to help raise funds for Special Olympics Arizona to continue with their amazing efforts to empower children and adults with intellectual disabilities to live healthy, fulfilling and meaningful lives.
