Facilitator Training and Support

As a part of the Healthy Relationships program, we offer training and support to family members and professionals working with people with intellectual disabilities on how to facilitate these conversations. We offer free, virtual facilitator training for those interested in facilitating the Understanding Me: An Athlete’s Guide to Navigating Healthy Relationships” curriculum twice a year. We offer ongoing support to facilitators such as tactical support, providing learning materials, and connection to resources. We also offer training sessions for professionals and/or family members by request of our communities.

We aim to be a resource for Arizona communities and beyond on the subject of healthy relationships and sex education for people with ID.

Interested in facilitator training and/or more information about how we can support you in your efforts to expand these conversations? Fill out this form below and someone from our team will be in touch with you.
