At no cost to any athletes to join or participate, Unified Sports is available for all ages, school based community based and other day or private programs. The following are different options of how Unified Sports is facilitated:
(Elementary, Middle & High School)
An Inclusive Program that combines athletes and partners on sports teams for training and competition within the P.E. Classroom. Athletes and partners will receive a P.E. credit towards graduation. The Curriculum follows Arizona’s P.E. State Standards and is the fastest growing Unified Sports option offered. Follow these links to learn more about Unified Sports Curriculum:

SOAZ/AIA Unified Sports is about inclusion and recognition of the Special Olympics athletes on their high school campus. Unified Sports athletes have the opportunity to enjoy sports competition and represent their school as an official team on campus. The SOAZ/AIA Unified Sports program offers individuals with and without disabilities a typical high school sports experience. For more information on AIA Unified Sports click here.
Community centers across the state offer Unified Sports as an option in their current Special Olympics Programs.
