John is no stranger to Guy Fieri and his games – he competed on an earlier episode in 2016 and won $16,000.

The premise of this episode – Three Diners, Drive-ins and Dives chefs with experience in Flavortown Market are playing Grocery Games in their own joints! Guy and Hunter Fieri send each chef a big box of GGG Delivery groceries perfect for a fried feast, but they can only use the items that fit in a tiny tote bag. The chefs must then make a classic takeout dish using the whammy ingredient and unusual kitchen gadget that appear on Guy’s giant dice. The chef with the highest combined score after two rounds gets a shot at winning up to $20,000 on the GGG Money Wheel.
